Every Saturday we choose a unique island destination as part of the Island Express Charters Adventure Series.
Our Adventure Series focuses on creating space for people to connect with the natural world: hiking island trails, picnicking on remote beaches, visiting marine state parks, and enjoying bird and wildlife observation through a “create your own adventure” format.
These trips are self-guided experiences - we provide the ride and the access, and you set the pace and plan your day. There’s no formal guide on site, giving you the freedom to explore the island on your own terms and craft an adventure that’s entirely your own.
On Saturday, June 13th bring your hiking shoes, camera, and a picnic to explore the scenic trails and beaches of Cypress Island! Land at Pelican Beach on the island’s north side and step straight into adventure. From here, wander the 3 mile Duck Lake Loop toward Eagle Harbor, or head west to Smuggler’s Cove for sweeping Rosario Strait views and a quaint beach stop (5 miles roundtrip). Pelican Beach is the perfect starting point for a day of hiking, exploring, and soaking in the natural beauty of Cypress Island.
The boat will depart Skyline Marina at 11am with a 30-45 minute travel time to the island. The boat will pick up at Pelican Beach on Cypress Island at 4:15pm to return to Skyline Marina.
