In 2025\, we launched a seasonal \;
Adventure Series \;designed to help people get outside and explore our beautiful backyard at an economical fare. Most Adventure Series trips are just $45 roundtrip for adults (a 50% savings from our standard fares)\, making non-ferry served island access more attainable for our community.
\nOur Adventure Series focuses on creating space for people to connect with the natural world: hiking island trails\, picnicking on remote beaches\, visiting marine state parks\, and enjoying bird and wildlife observation through a &ldquo\;create your own adventure&rdquo\; format.

\nSaturday\, May 16th we will be heading to
Burrows Island Lighthouse. \;A docent from the Northwest Schooner Society will guide you through the
Burrows Island Light Station &ndash\; sharing stories of the keepers who lived in isolation\, kept the light burning\, and watching over these busy waters for more than a century. You will step inside the buildings\, wander the headland\, and soak up the views that few get to see. Pack a picnic\, and enjoy lunch overlooking the strait &ndash\; watching ships and wildlife move through the strait just as the keepers once did.\n\n

\nThe boat will depart Skyline Marina at 3pm with a 15 minute travel time to the island. The boat will pick up at Burrows Island at 5:30pm to return to Skyline Marina. \;
