The Anacortes Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony hosted by Town Crier Richard Riddell! Friday, December 6, 2013 6PM-7PM.
Begin your holiday season with the sweet sounds from the Fidalgo Island, Mt Erie, Island View, and Anacortes High School choirs. Welcome back Island favorites the Ana-O-Chords, the Salvation Army Brass Band, the 2nd Year Elementary Band and ACT Theater.
Free children’s pictures with Santa Claus and hot chocolate served up by the Salvation Army.
After the ceremony stroll downtown with your family for the annual Holiday Art Walk!
This event is made possible by the following community members: Pioneer Tree Services, Sebo’s Hardware & Rental, Birch Equipment, Cap Sante Court Retirement Community, Colleen Craig of Windemere, Anacortes Construction Services, Village Pizza, the Salvation Army, Rich Hiedecker of Youth Dynamics, Phil Burton of Burton’s Jeweler’s and Tom Figenshow of Guemes for cutting and hauling the tree, and Jeff Gent of Guemes Island for this year’s tree.
